Technical Support Engineer

About the role

ARMCO is looking for a full-time Technical Support Engineer who enjoys new technology and challenges to join our Client Success team. We are relentlessly committed in the continued success and satisfaction of our client base.

Specific Responsibilities may Include, but are not Limited to:

  • Monitors performance metrics, performs research and collaborates with Operations, clients and IT to document and facilitate resolution 
  • Uses fundamental troubleshooting skills and technical knowledge to isolate, analyze, and provide resolution to client issues
  • Acts as an effective technical interface between clients and our IT team
  • Writes and reviews complex technical JIRA bug tickets originating from client support
  • Researches, monitors and collaborates with product development on enhancement requests originating from client support
  • Serves as Business Objects reporting administrator, troubleshooting, testing and developing fields/tables, as required
  • Serves as Tableau reporting administrator, troubleshooting, testing and developing fields/tables as required

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • 5 years of technical experience in product enhancement requirements gathering
  • Must demonstrate competence Proven Skills in administering Business Objects
  •  Must be knowledgeable and competent in JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Office and SQL
  • Familiar with Tableau, Power BI and other reporting tools
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to self-prioritize work, multi-task and collaborate with other team members
  • Documents all work using prescribed methods
  • Ability to travel 5-10%
  • Ability to work remotely 100%

Highly Desirable Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of the banking industry, specifically mortgage lending and servicing
  • Working knowledge of ACES Audit TechnologyTM and Appcues

Physical Requirements: This position requires the ability to sit for long periods of time, hear and converse over the telephone/computer, and type frequently on a computer (4 or more hours per day). Must be able to lift and carry up to 15 pounds.
