Team Avi Naider

Avi Naider, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Naider is a software entrepreneur and business leader who, prior to ARMCO, founded a successful Internet advertising company. A recognized expert in mortgage risk, Mr. Naider has written for mortgage industry publications and speaks frequently at industry events. He is a graduate of Princeton University, with a degree from the Woodrow Wilson School of Public Policy and International Affairs. One of his primary focuses at ARMCO is leading the product development team to stay at the forefront of the mortgage quality control software market. He serves on the Board of Loxo Oncology, a publicly traded biotechnology company and on boards of several private companies. In his spare time, he enjoys wakeboarding, hiking and fishing with his three girls.

Team Phil Mccall

Phil McCall, President and Chief Operating Officer


Mr. McCall brings more than two decades of executive experience in the mortgage industry to ARMCO. He is an award-winning, seasoned expert in quality control, loan origination and underwriting, mortgage fraud, loss and litigation and real estate-based transactions. Prior to joining ARMCO, Mr. McCall’s career included posts as COO for IMARC, a forensic loan auditing and loan data verification provider, and inexecutive positions with three privately owned mortgage banking firms. He has been an integral liaison between his companies and various Wall Street firms, and was actively engaged as a seller / servicer with Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. Mr. McCall is a licensed real estate broker in California and is a direct endorsed underwriter for the Federal Housing Administration (FHA). He has held real estate and broker licenses in more than 20 other states. He is married with three children.

Team Nick Volpe

Nick Volpe, Chief Strategy Officer

Mr. Volpe brings over 20 years experience in both mortgage origination and servicing to ARMCO. He was part of the original team at The Murrayhill Company and was integral in pioneering credit risk oversight for mortgage loan securitizations. Prior to joining ARMCO, Mr. Volpe helped established origination and servicing QC businesses and lead integration teams in multiple acquisitions. A recognized subject matter expert, he has authored multiple articles and speaks regularly at industry events. In his role at ARMCO, he maps the course for future product development, executes corporate initiatives, and works directly with clients to chart market needs. Mr. Volpe has a Bachelor's degree in Real Estate Finance from Penn State University and is married with two children.

Team Ben Mahan

Ben Mahan, Chief Technology Officer

Mr. Mahan brings over two decades of diverse product development and technology leadership experience to ARMCO. He has executive positions in the e-learning, supply chain, healthcare, and compliance industries. Prior to joining ARMCO, Mr Mahan was the CTO at Sentry Data Systems, a privately-owned SaaS provider in the 340b and healthcare analytics space, where he played a key role in the company’s multiple significant growth phases over the course of more than seven years. Throughout his career, Mr. Mahan has been able to build on his passion for software engineering and user experience design to lead and grow many creative and successful product technology teams. In his spare time, he enjoys golfing and boating with his two sons, and coaching their sports teams.

Team Dilbert Gonzalez

Dilbert Gonzalez, Vice President of Client Services

Mr. Gonzalez brings over 17 years of experience in designing, developing, implementing, and supporting the ACES Audit Technology platform, to his position at ARMCO, where he is responsible for the onboarding, training, and ongoing technical support of clients. He works closely with mortgage banking industry clients to identify business needs and analyze requirements that translate directly into software enhancements, configuration optimization, and process improvements. Mr. Gonzalez holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and a Master of Business Administration from Florida International University. He enjoys travel, theatre, and as a self-professed cruise nut, he is ready to set sail at a moment’s notice.

Team Sharon Reichhardt

Sharon Reichhardt, Vice President of Client Success


Ms. Reichhardt brings 25 years of mortgage industry experience to ARMCO, most of which were spent in the Quality Control department of EverBank. Her previous experience spans auditing loan servicing, origination compliance, consumer banking and commercial real estate. Prior to joining ARMCO, Ms. Reichhardt was EverBank’s lead administrator and report writer for ACES. She served as QC audit coordinator for external audits including FNMA, FHLMC, HUD, CFPB and OCC, and was instrumental in improving business processes such as executive reporting, regulatory reporting, and quality assurance. Ms. Reichhardt's hands on experience as an ACES administrator in a Quality Control environment gives her a unique perspective to assist clients with implementation, and the many ways ACES can be customized for a range of products and workflows. She is married with two teenaged sons, and enjoys all kinds of sports, live theatre and musical performances, especially those involving her boys.

Team Romina Cusenza

Romina Cusenza, Vice President of Marketing

Ms. Cusenza brings over 15 years of experience in mortgage industry marketing to ARMCO. With direct responsibility for the development and execution of corporate marketing strategies, Ms. Cusenza oversees all daily operations for brand management, public relations, demand generation, content marketing, design, advertising, conferences/sponsorships and special events. Prior to joining ARMCO, she held positions at Marshall & Swift/Boeckh and Interthinx, a First American company, where she spearheaded automated marketing for Interthinx, managing customer communication, nurturing campaigns, online advertising, content marketing execution and more. Ms Cusenza has extensive experience in event marketing, and is known for sophisticated and memorable industry events that range from receptions to customer summits. A Southern California resident, she enjoys spending time with her daughter and competing in Spartan races.

Downsizing Continued to Impact Rate of Critical Defects in Mortgages in Q3

The rate of critical defects in mortgage applications increased to 1.89% in the third quarter, up from 1.71% in the second quarter to reach the highest level since October 2015, according to ARMCO’s latest quarterly QC Trends Report. That’s an increase of roughly 11% from the previous quarter.

Contributing to the increase was a 23% jump in critical defects attributed to loan package documentation. It was the fourth consecutive quarter to see a significant increase in this category.
